End-user License Agreement
This license agreement (hereinafter “agreement”) is a legal document between you (a person or a legal entity) and CrystalBit Solutions (the “Company”) regarding the software product Uninstall Tool (hereinafter “software”) including the software stored on respective media and any built-in or electronic documentation. By installing, copying or howsoever using the software you accept the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not accept the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not use this software.
THE LICENSE FOR THE PROGRAM is protected by copyright laws and international agreements, as well as by other laws and agreements related to copyright.
SOFTWARE UPDATE. To get an update, you must have a license for the software the author provides the software update for. Software which is an update for other software either replaces or complements the updated software. The software received as an update may be used only according to this agreement. All updates (excluding major releases) are free for registered users. Major version updates can be purchased with a significant discount.
- The author of the software, CrystalBit Solutions, owns exclusive copyright for the software.
- You may use this software during the evaluation period of 30 days. If you want to use the program after that, you MUST register your copy of the program.
- After the registration, the user may use Uninstall Tool for any legal purposes on the number of computers and under the conditions stated in the purchased license. A Standard license permits installation of the software on the number of computers it covers. A Portable license covers the portable version of the software, which requires no installation: one individual may run it on any number of computers, provided that the software is used by that individual alone and on one computer at a time; where the software is installed on a computer, a Portable license permits such installation on one computer only.
- A registered copy of Uninstall Tool verifies its license at startup by connecting to the license verification service crystalidea.license-manage.com. It transmits, in encrypted form, the license key (without your name or e-mail address), a hardware identifier (a hash string derived from your computer's hardware components), the app version and the operating system version. The hardware identifier is not capable of storing personal or private information, and the license key alone is not sufficient to activate the software on another computer. As with any connection to an internet server, the service also receives the public IP address your computer connects from; it is not used to determine your precise location. None of the above is transmitted while the app runs in the unregistered (trial) mode. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy. You may not disable, block or circumvent this verification.
- The Company reserves the right to revoke a license key that is used in breach of this agreement, in particular if the software is activated on more computers than the number of licenses purchased, if a Portable license is used by more than one person or on more than one computer at a time, or if the license verification described above is disabled, blocked or circumvented. Once a key is revoked it no longer activates the software, and copies previously activated with it revert to the unregistered (trial) mode.
- The unregistered trial version of Uninstall Tool may be distributed freely, but only as is, i.e. without any modifications. The Uninstall Wizard feature during the trial does not remove apps leftovers but they can be saved for later to be removed if you decide to buy the app.
- The Uninstall Tool setup wizard creates a desktop icon to the helper executable (UninstallToolExec.exe) which uses Windows Task Scheduler to bypass User Account Controls (UAC) at application launch. This is done deliberately to simplify/improve user experience.
Uninstall Tool setup supports various command line options e.g. /SILENT, /VERYSILENT, /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES and others supported by InnoSetup.
- Install Tracker uses kernel-mode driver (“CisUTMonitor.sys”) by “Software Security Systems ChTUP” that enabled real-time tracking of file system and registry. If you don't want to install this component, please uncheck the “Install tracing service” feature during installation.
- Uninstall Tool IS DISTRIBUTED “AS IS”. NO WARRANTIES, EXPLICIT OR IMPLIED, ARE PROVIDED. YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. NEITHER THE AUTHOR NOR HIS AUTHORIZED PARTNERS ARE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, PROFIT LOSS OR ANY OTHER TYPES OF LOSSES CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR MISUSE OF THE SOFTWARE.
- You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, hand over the licensed software or its part. Any kind of such unauthorized use results in the immediate and automatic termination of this license and may lead to criminal and/or civil prosecution.
- All rights that are not explicitly granted here are reserved by the author of the software, CrystalBit Solutions.
- “CrystalIDEA” and “Uninstall Tool”, together with the associated logos, are trade names and trademarks of the Company, whether or not registered in any jurisdiction. Nothing in this agreement grants you any right to use them, other than to refer to the software accurately and truthfully.
- The installation and use of Uninstall Tool indicates your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this agreement and the Uninstall Tool Privacy Policy.
- If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement or if they contradict the legislation of your country, you must remove the files of Uninstall Tool from your storage devices and cease to use Uninstall Tool.
This agreement covers matters specific to Uninstall Tool and supplements the general End User License Agreement, which also applies to Uninstall Tool.
